Our Leadership Team

James Kahn

President, Co-Founder

James Kahn has been a dedicated professional in the healthcare industry since 1989, bringing over 36 years of expertise to the table. Before beginning his civilian career, James served in the United States Air Force as part of NATO Forces at RAF Alconbury in the United Kingdom. His responsibilities included security, law enforcement, and VIP protection. After being honorably discharged in 1988, James transitioned into healthcare, working as a paralegal for Central Healthcare Services in Baltimore, Maryland, where he supported the legal team of Preller and Preller.

Shortly thereafter, James relocated to Miami, Florida, to contribute to management and sales efforts. In 1996, driven by a vision to make a greater impact, James launched his own company, focusing on enhancing collaboration between hospitals and vendors. His innovative approach emphasized teamwork and effective communication to improve operational coordination.

Today, James continues this mission as Co-Founder of Stream Healthcare Services, LLC. His commitment to fostering strong partnerships and providing value-driven solutions has been instrumental in the company’s growth. James believes in Stream’s role as a supportive asset to clients, helping them navigate the complexities of the healthcare landscape with a simple yet powerful motto: Teamwork is the key to success.

Chris Kahn

Executive Vice President, Co-Founder

With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Chris Kahn has built a career rooted in dedication to improving revenue cycle operations. Starting as a teenager verifying insurance benefits for incoming patients, Chris progressed through various key roles in revenue cycle management, including patient financial assistance, claims denials and appeals management, and collections.

Most recently, Chris served as a data manager and workflow strategist for a revenue cycle management company, a role that honed expertise in data analysis and process optimization. These experiences laid the foundation for Chris to co-found Stream Healthcare Services, LLC, where the focus is on delivering impactful, data-driven solutions to healthcare entities.

Chris firmly believes that at the heart of every revenue cycle decision is the well-being of patients. This guiding philosophy drives Stream’s mission to assist hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers in enhancing financial operations to ultimately improve patient care outcomes.

Bruce Scheller

Chief Operating Officer

Bruce J. Scheller is a seasoned and results-oriented healthcare executive with over 28 years of experience in revenue cycle management and operational leadership. He earned his Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) designation through AAHAM in 2001, underscoring his deep expertise in the financial and administrative functions critical to healthcare organizations.

Mr. Scheller has a demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence, enhancing profitability through data-driven strategies, and leading transformative process improvements across complex healthcare environments. With a sharp focus on measurable outcomes, he excels in identifying growth opportunities and executing scalable solutions in competitive markets.

A dynamic and collaborative leader, Mr. Scheller is adept at building and directing high-performing cross-functional teams. He is a skilled communicator and strategic thinker, recognized for optimizing workflows through comprehensive process evaluations and implementing practical, actionable solutions.
